Ja...............im Februar musste man noch bis nach Paris reisen, um dem Frühling zu begegnen. Ich traf ihn im Jardin du Luxembourg.Nein............kaum ein Stuhl in der Sonne blieb unbesetzt und auch ich habe dort eine Weile auf einer Bank gesessen und dem Frühling bei seiner Arbeit zugeschaut.
Vielleicht......war die Kleidung, die man trug, noch etwas dick und das Geäst der Bäume noch sehr kahl, trotzdem kam mir an dem Tag plötzlich alles sehr grün und sommerlich vor. Seht ihr die Enten? Sie ließen Anja schön grüßen!
Yes.............in february one had to go to Paris yet, to meet spring. I met him in Jardin du Luxembourg.
No..............nearly no chair in the sunshine remained vacant and I also sat down there on a bench for a while and watched spring at his work.
Maybe.........the clothes one wore were still a bit warm and the branches were still a bit naked, but for all that it suddenly felt very green and summerlike around that day. You see the ducks? They sent their regards to Anja!

I lived for 5 weeks right next to the Jardin - the company I worked for at the time had sent me to Paris to learn French, it was a bad investment as I didn't learn much, but I had lots of fun! I should have been born French! :)
