Nein............wie riesig der Markt dort ist und wie unfassbar viele Gemüsestände allein es dort gibt, wird auf dem einen Foto nicht annähernd ersichtlich. Im Grunde ist es ein ganzes Viertel!
Vielleicht.....sind besonders die Bilder der alten Frauen in der Erinnerung geblieben, die hier und da auf dem Markt versuchten,ihre magere Ernte aus dem eigenen Garten zu verkaufen. Offenbar waren sie auf jeden Lipa/Cent angewiesen. Ich habe sie aus Respekt nicht fotografiert.

No...............hardly visible in the picture how large that market is and how many market stands only for vegetables are there to find. In fact it's a whole district!
Maybe..........I kept especially the pictures of the old women in my mind, that tried to sell their meagre garden harvest here and there on that market. Obviously they needed every Lipa/Cent. I didn't photograph them out of respect.

ah! diese hellgelben Schoten erinnern mich sofort an "östlich von hier". In Ungarn gab es viele davon, in jeder Schärfe zu haben… hier nie… liebe Grüsse!

I love markets like that! I hope the older ladies sold all of their produce and made some money. I hate to think of older people having to struggle.

AntwortenLöschensomeone recently commented on my blog on how she (a North American lady) envied my old fellow villager for their still active life - they work the fields out of necessity, but she pointed out how an idle life in a nursing home is certainly more comfortable, but empty. as in many cases, a bit of both (money and work in this case) would be good at all ages!
