Nein............wer es gemacht hat und warum genau, blieb ein Geheimnis. Auch der Brunnen war einen Tag später wieder in seinen Urzustand zurückversetzt.
Vielleicht.....war der Ort für feministischen Protest dennoch sehr bewusst gewählt, denn der Brunnen erzählt die Geschichte von Türelüre-Ließje, ein altes Aachener Kinderlied. Das arme Lieschen (Ließje) muss ganz dringend, doch die bösen Lausbuben halten sie davon ab. Schließlich muss sie an Ort und Stelle ein Bächlein lassen, welches die Straße herunterrinnt...nicht gerade ein Beispiel für Gentleman-haftes Verhalten dieser Jungs!

Yes..............obviously, the creators of this streetart-installation was/were very emotional, when this artwork was made.
No..............it remained a secret who exactly did that and why. And also only one day later the fountain was back into its original state.
Maybe..........the location was very well chosen for feminist protest anyhow, as the fountain tells the story of Türelüre-Ließje, an old local nursery rhyme. Poor Lieschen (Ließje) is bursting for a pee, but the bad rascals don't let her. So finally she can't keep it anymore and the little stream flows down the street...not really an example for gentleman-like behaviour of those boys!

A very clever little temporary installation. It's good to keep people thinking about these things. And making sure women keep fighting the good fight for their voices to be heard and their rights to be honoured is worth getting emotional about :-)
