Yes.............this painting was made in 2004 as a hommage to dog no.2, Joscha. A real buddy character.
No..............mate, even Paula couldn't make us forget about you, as little as about your predecessor no.1, Momo. There had never been any doubt about that. You're still hanging at home, acrylic on canvas.
Maybe.........today is a good occasion to remember. This is why I dedicate this stamp to you. The next edition is for the others.
This week's drawing challenge is from Helen.

tender tribute to Joshua,he looks very soft and friendly i couldn't help chuckling looking at that photo, is that a leg in the background :)(the words leg and bone are both 'been' in flemish)
AntwortenLöscheni like how you painted him with that green background,
take care Tanïa xx
Yes, Renilde, your eyes didn't cheat you, it IS a leg in the background... ;o)) Made me laugh that leg and bone are the same in flemish, but this "been" wasn't for the dog, only our strange home decoration during flat share times...
Löschenwhat a gorgeous dog Tania
AntwortenLöschenand the painting of him is beautiful I love the composition. He's just perfect for a stamp in fact I thought it was a real one at first.
Its hard to forget a loyal furry fourlegged woofy companion :)

What a beautiful painting and a beautiful application of it. My heart feels a bit soft looking at it. I know the love of an animal, and sharing one's life with a pet. The love remains in the heart forever. I think it is true love. And I love this stamp you made Tania! *smiles* Norma, x
