Nein............normalerweise habe ich es nicht so mit Kirchen, aber diese...!? Ich sehe förmlich die Menschen dazu vor mir, in Sixties Kleidchen und Anzügen mit schmalen Krawatten, auf dem Parkplatz reihen sich die Autos der Zeit...Space Age pur! Und wenn man die ruhige Wohngegend kennt, in der sie steht, kann man auch heute noch meinen, es seie ein Ufo gelandet, wenn sie auf einmal vor einem auftaucht.
Vielleicht.....ist sie eines Tages auch mal geöffnet, wenn ich dort bin, denn der Innenraum muss auch eine ganz besondere Ausstrahlung haben.
Beim Corner view dreht sich heute alles um Architektur. Thank you, Nadine, for this great subject!
Yes.............I already showed a picture of it in my 2012 retrospection, but the Heilig-Geist Church in Wiesbaden-Biebrich is worth to be pointed out separately again.
No..............usually I'm not so keen on churches, but this one...!? I can virtually see the compatible people, wearing Sixties dresses and suits with slim ties, cars of the decade lined up in the parking area...pure Space Age! And if you know about the calm neighbourhood where it is located, you can still nowadays draw the conclusion that an Ufo has landed when it suddenly rises up in front of you.
Maybe.........it's open when I'm back in the area again, because the inside space must have a very special atmosphere, too.

AntwortenLöschenich kenne die Kirche gut, sowohl von innen wie von außen. In den 70ern hab ich dort eine Pfadfindergruppe geleitet... Für die architektonische Außerordentlichkeit hab ich damals noch kein Auge gehabt, das kam erst später. Inzwischen finde ich sie einfach nur genial...
