drawing challenge: beauty · schönheit

Nicht leicht... / Not easy...
...sich mit Schönheit zu befassen... / ...to focus on beauty...
...wenn's grad nicht so läuft... / ...when it's not going well at the moment...
...wenn Du Dich schrecklich fühlst, weil Du schon wieder krank bist... /
...when you feel awful, 'cause you're ill again...
Wie fühlt sich diese Schönheit? (Eine Technik-Übung aus meinem Studium...) /
How does this beauty feel? (A technique exercise I did during my studies...)
Schönheit ist so viel...ein Moment, eine Erinnerung... / Beauty is so much...a moment, a memory...
...sich in Kreativität verlieren... / ...getting lost in creativity...

Yes.............nature becomes more and more beautiful, finally!
No..............that couldn't prevent me from catching a very bad cold again.
Maybe.........it was wise foresight, that I made this papercut already last week. It fits perfect to this topic. Today I better avoid picking up the cutter. Otherwise it ends up like my poor deer...

This beautiful drawing challenge theme was an idea of Nadine.

  5. aw, tania, what a beautiful, langurious build up to your eventual joyful papierschnitte... i see alot of them these days, perhaps it's happenstance? might i say i even add broken bambi to the challenge of today. i think that little deer is a thing of beauty... reminding us of our ever imperfectness.
get better soon, as the sun comes out, love!
    thxs for playing!

  14. Yeah, yeah, I agree, we need beauty in our lives, but, knowing observe it, and find it, and appreciate it, is something that should be taught and learned
besides the popular concept of beauty is something that changes, not static. so I do not believe much in beauty, beauty is very relative. especially when the beauty is handled by the market, "look this is beautiful, buy it"
check this out, the little deer was beautiful, broke, is no longer beautiful?
    have a beautiful week!!! :)

  18. Tania this paper cutting of the girl skipping is so perfect and enchanting and gorgeous. What a nice piece of work this is. And, set on top of the black background. Brilliant. It's lovely. I hope that cold hits the road soon. Well your artwork made me think IMMEDIATELY of a paper doll that I made, years ago, of a woman skipping. Your skipping girl has the rope above her and so does my art piece. I had to go have a look and found it [on her headband it says b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l and she feels beautiful because of how she is loved. Her pocket contains love letters]. Here is the link if you want to have a look at her:

Love your art and you take on things art friend!! N, x
