Ja..............auch wenn der Weihnachtsbaum anderes vermuten lässt: erst vor wenigen Tagen prangte plötzlich diese Liebeserklärung auf dem Aachener Elisenbrunnen, eine der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt neben dem Dom. Nein...........zwar finde ich diese unübersehbare Zuneigungsbekundung schon ein wenig beeindruckend in ihrer Erscheinung, jedoch bin ich zugleich auch entsetzt über soviel mangelnden Respekt gegenüber dem gerade erst letzten Sommer frisch renovierten Bauwerk.
Vielleicht....verwundert es darum nicht, dass der Zauber bereits vorbei bzw. die Wand wieder neutral gestrichen ist. Hoffentlich ist nicht auch die so laut proklamierte Liebe von so kurzer Dauer!

Yes............even if the christmas tree might suggest something different: only few days ago there was suddenly this declaration of love on Aachen's Elisenbrunnen, one of the most important sights in town in addition to the Dom.
No.............though I am a little bit impressed in view of this highly visible demonstration of affection, but on the same time I am appalled by such a lack of respect for this just last summer fresh refurbished building.
Maybe........that is why it is not quite a surprise that this game is already over and the wall is repainted in neutral colour. Let's hope this loudly proclaimed love is not of a similar short life!
